In India ,women like to wear lots of jewels as a part of our ancient tradition .Usually we think jewellery as decorative piece to enhance women beauty but let's expand your horizon and see the intricately designed wisdom of the ancient people behind wearing jewellery. When I talk about my culture and it's practices then simply I want to know the reason behind it because if we are doing something so passionately then there must be a reason for it . So,in this article I will disclose the logic behind it and then you will be amazed to know the intelligent quotient of our ancient people .                                                                                      1)Tika -Maangtika ,The practice of wearing maangtika goes back to many years back and still continued as tradition .It is considered auspicious .Tika consists of a chain with a pendent in the front and hook in the front .The hook is used for holding the Tika at the hair end ,while the pendent embellishes the centre of a woman 's forehead. In Science,It's control the heat of your body .In spiritual sense ,the chakra is visualised to have two petals where the half male -half female androgynous deity Ardhanarishvar resides.Central part is beleived to be a place of chakra which controls the thoughts and emotions .

2)Earrings -As per legends, evil spirit were beleived to enter the body through any of its openings ,by wearing ornaments in the ear women attained a state of complete well being .The latest studies have also revealed that ear is a microcosm of the entire body and has an important nerve that connects cervix ,brain and kidney .By applying the right amount of pressure in the ear ,it offers complete well being .                                                                     3)Necklace-Necklace worn near the heart are beleived to control emotions .Wearing a necklace of stones is beleived to bind ourselves with their eternal powers.Since ancient times necklaces pendents, string of beads and elaborate ornamental collars were worn by women to bring good luck and ward off the  evil eye .                                                                    4)Bangles -The word itself seem to fill one with sweet tinkling sound produced by it .wearing bangles can be easily afforded by any women whether rich or poor .  It's amorous sound produce some energy which cools the women's mood and the people sorrounds it . It has also an immense romantic and amorous conotations as well.                                                                       5)Bindi -One of the most loved ornament of women .It is worn at centre of eyebrows . Actually this place has pineal gland ..which controls thoughts and actions in the body ..in spirituality people call it third eye ..so when we apply bindi ,it instantly controls the pineal gland in some way which gives your mind a cool and calming effect .                                                                   I hope you enjoy reading all this logic behind it ..So for the next time when you will wear all this do notice the internal changes in the body .It's magical ..That's why I say that our ancient people were so intellectuals.
